Preparation is Key

As with all our groundworks, the secret to a long-lasting finish is in the preparation. You cannot simply lay tarmac over loose dirt.

We excavate the ground to the required depth and install a heavy-duty sub-base. We ensure the edging stones (kerbs) are concreted firmly in place to stop the driveway from spreading. Finally, we lay the base course and the surface course (the top layer) using professional paving machines and heavy rollers to achieve a perfectly smooth, compacted finish.
